Bio

Jillian Lee (b. 1978) is a self-taught painter who began her art career working as an illustrator for interior design firms from

New York to Los Angeles.  Once she discovered clients were framing the illustrations, she expanded into fine art.

Painting primarily in acrylic and gouache, Jillian layers methodically to create images with a vibrant yet soft,

impressionistic approach.  Accrediting studies in art history and a decade-long profession in design, her use of color results in a

rich and textural composition. Rooted in her Christian faith, she strives to highlight the good, the true and the beautiful in art.

Jillian is a full-time artist living in Minnetonka, Minnesota with her husband and two daughters.  Her work has been collected

worldwide and represented by fine art galleries in Minneapolis, Key West, Park City, Houston and Lahaina, and

featured in House Beautiful, Interior Design, Luxe and Traditional Home magazines.
