Sand & water between our toes
Walks…many walks
Collages
Making cards
Wrapping gifts to brighten the day
Picking wildflowers for the house
And experimenting with wildflowers….
It’s been a challenging year.
Moments better left in the past,
& moments you long for once more.
I close with a poem my husband
has taught my daughters to recite.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
by Robert Frost
_____
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
